A man with all the earmarks of an African ‘leader’.
After the election Of Barack Obama, I can’t help but think Americans are developing a fondness for leaders with some ‘African’ in them. Welcome to the motherland, America.
I love politics. Unlike many who read into it through an emotional lens, I have dug myself out of that hole, and so should you.
Developing countries have for years been dealing with what is going on now in the land said to be flowing with ‘milk and honey’ — emotional politics.
Never have there been a time in recent history as…
The Emancipation proclamation came in the form of an executive order issued by President Lincoln, on Jan 1, 1863.
That on the first day of January in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three, all persons held as slaves within any State, or designated part of a State, the people whereof shall then be in rebellion against the United States shall be then, thenceforward, and forever free; and the executive government of the United States, including the military and naval authority thereof, will recognize and maintain the freedom of such persons, and will do…
Marjorie Taylor Greene has apologized for comparing coronavirus-related rules to the treatment of Jewish people in Nazi Germany during the Holocaust. The apology came after an alleged visit to the Holocaust Museum. During her display of contrition to the members of the media, she also pleaded for her sanity;
‘…..I’m a normal person…’. she said.
I found it strange for this right-wing conspiracy theorist to appear to allude that she had little or no knowledge about the Holocaust and as such, greatly benefited from a crash course visit to the Holocaust Museum. …
A clever and subtle threat was issued by the Republican National Committee Chairwoman this week, it read something like, “…..We’ll advise the Republican presidential nominee to sit out the Presidential debate.” Wrote Ronna McDaniel, in a letter to the Commission on Presidential Debates.
Literally, anything that is coming out of any Republican quarters these days seems to be a regurgitation of what Donald Trump has said in the past, sometimes verbatim — I’m all for that streamlined party messaging since the outsing of Liz Chaney. Good on you Minority House leader, it’s working. You’re all basically a Trump echo chamber.
Why is this rare sight of black people with guns so appealing to me? Is it that it’s Black people brandishing ARs and AKs? The lady in the center middle wearing yellow acrylic nails and aviators holding a rifle while surrounded by those power-wielding black men? Or just the sight of many armed black people in the same place? Power — Fire-power?
The Donald Trump propaganda mill has churned out yet another bold-faced impossibility; a possible Donald Trump reinstatement to the presidency. The theory has taken over the MAGA Universe by storm — it’s so exhausting really until you listen to its mind-bending details.
But what a word to use though — reinstatement? Just like an insurance policy huh? It is hard to tell how conspiracy theorist Mike Lindell — the originator of this new theory — arrived at and settled on the word.
There are a whopping 80 heavily armed militia groups across the United States today. The vast majority are right-wing groups.
In the Summer leading up to the 2020 elections, these notoriously racist right-wing militia outfits became emboldened by a lack of sanctions coming from political leadership who were desperate for votes. They either chose to ignore the illegalities these groups were committing on the streets, while others like the Donald Trump the then president egged them on.
So emboldened they became, that they unsuccessfully plotted the kidnapping of Michighan governor Gretchen Whitmer, and joined forces in support of Donald Trump…
So you think Democrats are weak huh? I think it's your understanding of what their role and yours should be that is a little skewed.
If it was up to you, would you beat Joe Munchin with a stick to guarantee his compliance? Or would you be as strong and cowardly as Trump — threaten his political future? Call his wife ugly? How in your view, would a group less than two in such a tight majority Senate vote to end the filibuster? Yes, you smart one, I seek your counsel.
What’s happening in America right now has been a…
