The Bible mentions Gaza 20 Times At least — As a Place Undefeated
Author’s Note: I don’t believe in the veracity of religious texts, especially the Holy Bible — the clever additions and tweaks every now and then are too numerous to be taken seriously. But I sometimes indulge it when religious tensions threaten to spill all over my coffee table.

The fighting spirit of the Palestinian people is nothing short of admirable, but it’s their pronunciation of Gaza as Ghezarr and Palestine as something even nicer that really warmed my heart.
So instead of sitting on my hands, I decided to explore Gaza’s biblical roots before it is completely disappeared before our very eyes, in the name of religion of course. Old habits die hard.
It’s important to also note that the biblical city of Gaza is what we now refer to as the Gaza Strip, although the biblical city of Gaza is not the entire Gaza Strip.
