Opinion: Biden Classified Documents
So Less Classified Documents?
Trump: “I declassify thee!”
Biden: “Unintentional oversight!”
Pence: “Mother!”
WTaF?
It’s been raining classified documents in these United States. But the speed at which Republicans went “Tu Quoque”, particularly in the Biden document scandal, should clear up any doubts about how much they really care about classified documents — they don’t.
See there’s the law, and then there’s the spin and it’s pretty understandable why the Republican Party would be much more focused on the latter. The intentional conflation was very hard to miss.
Fortunately for Biden and Trump, Americans generally hold their Presidents to a high degree of reverence and as such, even Nixon could be spared the indignity of a steel cage.
As for matters of National Security, not a lot of people can say it’s never been pretty much guaranteed.
