When A Racist Dies Mid-idea — So All That Rot Stays Buried Deep Within

On July 24, 2025, at the age of 71, the good lord sent Hulk Hogan on the first thing smoking out of here, and just like that, the world had one less amorphous bigot. Last I heard of the guy was at last summer’s MAGA convention, where he tore off his shirt in a cheap stunt to promote monocultural superiority in this country.
At the time, Hulk Hogan had hitched his wagon to MAGA, as he was in the middle of launching and promoting his ‘Real American Beer,’ something he was spectacularly booed for by wrestling fans just days before. But that, in a nutshell, is the kind of man Hulk Hogan was: a bloodless opportunist.
Oh, he was a racist too, and not just any kind of racist, he’s the kind that gets recorded multiple times using the hard R despite going his entire career tanning so hard he looked like a literal hot dog. It’s also crazy that he died on the 10th anniversary of his being fired from WWE for using racial slurs against his daughter’s black boyfriend.
Being the epitome of everything audiences must have wished to see on screen in the 1980s, Hulk spent his early years fighting thinly disguised caricatures of America's ‘enemies’ — if you get my drift — looking the part of an all-American comic book hero who ate Bison steaks delivered to him steaming hot by bald eagles.
