Although the Republican Party has given us some of the greatest statesmen in American history, it’s also brought us some of the most accomplished liars.
When an entire political Party rejects ordinary political truths to embrace alternate truths offered up by the Kellyanne Conways, and the Tucker Carlsons, what is there to say when candidates like Santos come up with alternate personal biographies?
Potential statesmen the likes of Lincoln and Roosevelt are no longer allowed an attempt at existence in what has become of that party since Donny came down the escalator, so the case of one or two individual fabulists is neither here nor there.
