Wearing a Halloween costume impersonating a police officer, 57-year-old Vance Luther Boelter drove to the homes of two Minnesota lawmakers in a vehicle that was similar in appearance to a police squad car, complete with flashing lights, to commit the murders before exchanging gunfire with the police officers who responded at the scene.

Law enforcement found a manifesto in the shooter’s car with a hit list of more Democratic party leaders and intentions to pay a visit to abortion providers.
