Clarence Thomas: The Cartoonish Justice

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas became famous 30 years ago after becoming the first Supreme Court nominee to be accused of being a sexual predator. Since then, he’s regularly found himself between the devil and the deep blue sea.

According to credible reporting by ProPublica, the good Justice has been receiving an obscene amount of charity from Dallas-based real estate magnate and Republican megadonor Harlan Crowe for two decades now.

Out of the kindness of his heart, he’s allowed Justice Thomas to float on his 162-foot super yacht around the globe and fly his Bombardier Global 5000 which is pretty neat by any standard.

The posh events he’s allowed the good justice to attend have placed our dear supreme court justice shoulder to shoulder with all manner of corporate executives, political activists, and other right-wing donors like himself — Not that that would be a big deal if Mr. Thomas wasn’t a sitting supreme court Justice, whose high office implores him to avoid any displays and appearance that could imply bias, at the very least.

Thomas and his wife Ginni’s political entanglements continue to disgust anyone who would care to admit it. Republicans will bury…
